About the Role: 

The Senior Manager, Strategic Finance will help to build and scale the forecasting processes and decision making frameworks around evaluating potential new business opportunities and initiatives that will unlock growth and help the Company scale. You will be responsible for partnering with teams across the organization to solve complicated, unstructured problems, in order to inform where and how much should be invested into a new business opportunity or initiative. Reporting to the Senior Director, Strategic Finance, you will play an important role in answering key questions for our forward-looking strategy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own all ad hoc analysis for the Strategic Finance team
  • Partner with various department heads to develop forecast and understand their resource needs (headcount & non-headcount spend) for new initiatives; act as a strategic business partner by providing feedback on plans
  • Partner with various department heads to find opportunities for efficiency and reimagine existing processes across the business
  • Enable CFO to make decisions on what areas of investment are needed to help scale the business
  • Work closely with Accounting on month-end close to perform variance analysis and understand the “why” behind actuals to better inform forecasts
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, draw insights, and deliver compelling, synthesized recommendations
  • Develop competitive intelligence analysis and have a view on how those trends affect our business and strategy


What You’ve Done and Enjoy Doing:

  • Relevant work experience in Strategic Finance or FP&A at a fast-paced company
  • Demonstrated track record of solving problems using data and process improvement, overseeing and conducting insightful analysis, influencing executive strategic thinking, designing new business processes, and project management
  • Expert knowledge of financial statement analysis and corporate finance concepts
  • Proficient with ERP Systems (GL + Planning Systems)
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills; able to move quickly with little structure or guidance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative working style; able to build trusted relationships with all cross-functional business partners
  • Self-starter, inquisitive nature, attention to detail, diligence, work ethic, a learning mindset, positive attitude, and willingness to embrace unstructured environments and challenges
