Job Description:
Demonstrates knowledge of principles of growth and development. Advocates and practices age specific, patient focused care for infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Directs and provides nursing care for assigned patients by demonstrating nursing knowledge through application of the nursing process. Specific to assessment planning, implementation and teaching evaluation of the plan and care provided. Implements the philosophy of the nursing department and established standards of nursing care and practice. Leadership abilities are demonstrated in functioning as a professional role model.

Education:
State of New York Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Experience:
Successful completion of basic nursing education. Current registration or temporary permit to practice nursing in New York State. Practices within the guidelines of the New York State Nurse Practice Act. BLS.
