Technical Sourcer

Why it matters: The Sourcer will contribute to the hiring process for Axios Media’s revenue generating teams, build brand recognition, and attract top talent. Recruiting the right candidates for Axios is mission-critical to our ability to innovate and build on behalf of our audience. You will support the People Operations team in translating business needs into hiring decisions and plan for future growth.

The details: Ideal candidates will embody an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for Axios’ mission and have the following skills:

• Ideally 1-2 years of experience with sourcing or recruiting 
• Proven experience assessing potential fit and recruiting passive candidates 
• Experience working with hiring managers in the realm of engineering, product, and design as a plus
• Strong sense of time management, prioritization, and attention to detail
• Passion for building diverse teams, recognizing the collective power of teams whose members bring different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to the table
• Experience hiring candidates from the Sales or Marketing industries is preferred
• Passion for providing a best-in-class experience for candidates and hiring managers
• Prior hiring experience at start-up or high-growth company is preferred
