Job Description

Warby Parker is on the lookout for a friendly, hard-working Director who has a passion for people, processes, and organization. You will be the glue that holds together our growing portfolio of corporate offices. On an average day, you may be following up with inventory supplies, making sure deliveries are happening promptly, and simultaneously ensuring customers and guests are welcomed into the office. What you’ll do: 

Office & Facilities Management

  • Oversee ongoing office initiatives and sourcing for improved service, product, and rates, such as meal programs and event management
  • Responsible for upholding our office aesthetic, maintenance, repairs cleaning, supplies, seating, deliveries, storage organization, reception responsibilities, and building management
  • Manage unique projects—such as office construction and post COVID-19 operations—with razor-sharp attention to detail, open communication, and budget adherence
  • Manage all things related to the Workplace Operations team, including internal event coordination, guest policies, supplies, janitorial and mail services, vendor relationships, reception, food programming, and administrative assistance 

Return to Office plan / COVID-19 response

  • Responsible for evaluating and handling complex accommodation requests along with supporting the covid response team with various COVID-19 related cases in support of our Return to office (RTO) initiative; including managing the protocols, processes, and cross-functional coordination with the business
  • Analyzing existing and new COVID-19 related data and ensuring it is accurate, timely, and actionable
  • Providing data and regular updates to stakeholders as needed

Who you are:

  • Backed by 9+ years of experience in operations, construction, and facility management 
  • A strategic leader with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Comfortable tackling problems head-on and adapting to shifting priorities
  • A resourceful self-starter with a no-task-too-small approach
  • Always on top of things and unflappably professional
  • Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
