Freelance Relationship Manager

Fortune Media is a global media organization dedicated to helping its readers, viewers, and attendees at Live and Virtual events succeed in business through unrivaled access and best-in-class storytelling.

Fortune is seeking a freelance Relationship Manager to build and maintain relationships with senior executives. The relationship manager’s responsibilities include conducting email outreach and recruiting attendees for Live and Virtual events. The successful candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, work in a timely manner, and have a big-picture mindset that can maximize client experiences.

This position is fully remote, and hourly.

The Relationship Manager will have these primary responsibilities:

• Recruit senior executives for Fortune events, via email campaign and direct, personal outreach
• Track and update invitation lists and a responses database, update contact information, new titles, etc.
• Research leads from provided lists

The Relationship Manager will possess these required skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfort at interacting with high-level executives, and managing relationships with internal stakeholders
• Sales experience
• Experience deploying targeted email campaigns
• Proficiency in Excel and Word, CRM system management

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with overlapping timelines
• Ability to synthesize business concepts and present customized information in a compelling manner to prospects
