In fiscal 2013, Salesforce.com reported revenues of $4.07 billion, up 33% from the previous year. Subscriptions and support revenue were $3.82 billion. The company reported a net loss of $232.1 million.

History

Salesforce.com was founded by CEO Marc Benioff in 1999 a vision to create an on-demand information management service that would replace traditional enterprise software technology. He spent 13 years at Oracle before founding the company and was also a programmer at Apple Computer's Macintosh division.

The company went public in 2004.

Benefits

Salesforce offers paid time off from 15-25 days per year depending on service with the company.

Employees receive $100 wellness credit per month which can be used for gym fees, massages, yoga or nutritional counseling.

The company offers a 50% match up to 6% of earnings or $4,000 per calendar year.
