In order to try and best meet individual health care needs, Plante & Moran staff members are currently offered the choice of several different health insurance carriers. Most offices have a choice of a traditional indemnity plan, a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) option, or a local Health Maintenance Organization (HMO).

Plante & Moran staff members enjoy a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) system that accommodates staff members' various work/life balance needs. Staff members will accrue 20 or 25 PTO days each year depending on length of service or attaining a managerial level. In addition, staff members may elect to purchase an additional one or two weeks extra PTO each year at a discount.

The firm grants holiday pay to staff members for select holidays.
·· Personal Computer Assignments
Each practice staff member and most administrative staff members will be given a firm-owned laptop or desktop computer for their business use.

Technology has a major impact on the services provided to our clients. As a result, eligible staff members may be reimbursed for certain expenses they incur due to purchasing computer hardware and software, and palm pilots for their business and personal use outside the office.

For the convenience of our staff members, the firm supports and encourages the use of direct deposit.

The firm has arranged with several counseling services throughout Michigan and Ohio to provide confidential assessment and short-term counseling assistance for staff members who would like professional guidance to deal with personal difficulties.
·· Business Related Travel Expenses
All approved business-related travel expenses are reimbursed by the firm.

Our firm has a long-standing emphasis on individual freedom and a philosophy that professionals are disciplined enough to set their own working hours within certain parameters.
·· Salary Continuation
In the event of jury duty or call-ups for military service (National Guard or Reserve), the firm will reimburse staff members the difference between the staff member's jury or military pay and their regular, semimonthly base salary for periods up to 30 calendar days.
