Palisades Center is the third-largest mall in New York State with 2.2 million square feet of space on four levels with over 270 stores. The mall has an IMAX theater, ferris wheel, carousel, ice skating rink and 14 restaurants. There is also a 21-screen AMC Loews Theatre.
The mall is located in Rockland County
off Exit 12 on the NYS Thruway and Routes 303 and 59. It is just
minutes from the Tappan Zee Bridge and Palisades Parkway. The
25-mile radius around the mall is one of the wealthiest in the
country, putting Palisades within a short drive from residents
of Westchester County and Northern New Jersey.
Anchor tenants include Macy's, JC Penney, Target, Barnes & Noble, BJ's Wholesale Club, H&M, Staples, Best Buy and Home Depot.
Restaurants include the Cheesecake Factory, Dave and Buster's, Buffalo Wild Wings, IHOP, Chili's, Tony Roma's, iHop, Yard House, East Japanese restaurant and Outback Steakhouse. There is also a Lucky Strike Lanes bowling alley with 12 lanes.
An Apple Store located in Palisades for several years moved to a new location at the Shops of Nanuet.
Palisades Center is owned by the Pyramid Companies of Syracuse which also owns malls in Syracuse, Buffalo and Albany. The Palisades Center opened in 1998 and was built on a former landfill.
The mall is undergoing renovations in 2013 including new floors, handrails and seating areas.

Palisades Center has 3.5 million square
feet of total space, making it the second-largest mall in the
U.S. behind the Mall of America in Minnesota.
On May 31, 2012, Palisades Center banned the use of tobacco throughout the property.
