The Company delivered 7,346 homes during the year ended November 30, 2010, down 13% from the year-earlier period, while the average selling price increased 4% year over year to $214,500.

For fiscal 2010, KB Home reported revenues of $1.59 billion, compared to $1.82 billion for the year earlier, and a net loss of $69.4 million.

The company was founded in 1957 as Kaufman and Broad, Inc. in Detroit to serve the entry-level housing market with homes that were well-designed and affordable. KB Home became the first homebuilder to trade on the New York Stock Exchange in 1969.
