The Branch Division has both public and private sector clients and targets new construction and maintenance projects as well as site preparation work for housing and commercial development. In addition, most branches are vertically integrated with an aggregates business, providing a key competitive advantage and a source of additional revenue. The Heavy Construction Division (HCD) pursues large, technically complex infrastructure projects nationwide. HCD has five regional offices across the country and pursues opportunities that often vary from a branch project in size, scope and complexity. These projects generally range from $50 million to more than $250 million.
